THERME FORUM: BACK TO THE BODY: HUMAN-ORIENTATED FORMS IN ART, DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE
The absence of nature in our cities can be seen as a reflection of the disconnection we are experiencing with our bodies. How can we reconnect with ourselves through art, design and architecture? How can art re-program our current self-perceptions?
On December 6th 2018, Therme Art Program co-hosted the prestigious Design Miami/ Talks Program, which included a three-part series of Therme Forum conversations on sustainability, body and art in design, architecture and urban planning.
The highly anticipated Therme Forum, Back to the Body: Human-Orientated Forms in Art, Design and Architecture panel discussion filled the Francis Kéré-designed Talks Theater with a lively discussion led by Serpentine Galleries Artistic Director Hans Ulrich Obrist, and thought-provoking perspectives on human-oriented forms in art, design, and architecture.
