Magdalena M. Gabriel
Trained as a lawyer in Poland, Magdalena M. Gabriel made the shift into the artworld following studies at the London School of Economics and Christie’s Education. As the director of Magdalena M Gabriel Fine Art, she now works on representing established and emerging artists, while also advising a range of high-profile clients to build world-class collection of art.
Magdalena has more than 10 years of experience as an arts advocate and she is closely associated with artists, leaders, influencers and organisations who promote environmental and social awareness. Magdalena has been a patron of Prince Charles Philippe Duke of Anjou’s Le Bal de La Riviera, an international platform of solidarity and friendship. Alongside this role, she has been working closely with Prince Albert of Monaco Foundation and the Leonardo Di Caprio Foundation, dedicated to the promotion of sustainable development on a global scale.
She conceives exhibitions and is active in branding and curation of cultural, artistic and philanthropic projects. Her artistic collaborators include Damien Hirst, Prince Ea (Leonardo Di Caprio Foundation), Daniel Lismore, Ellen von Unwerth, Pierre Bonnefille, Another View, Lorenzo Quinn (Fight AIDS Monaco), Joana Vasconcelos, Why people can’t fly, One Ocean-One Future Project, which features Joe Corre and Alejandro Duran, to name a few.
Magdalena has presented exhibitions, performances and installations in collaboration with institutions and companies including Rolls Royce, Smart Beijing, Bvlgari, Survetta House, David Linley, Norton & Sons – Patrick Grant, Tory Burch, Société Générale Private Banking and M17 Contemporary Art Center. Magdalena is a young patron of Tate Modern and has served as a committee member of the Serpentine Galleries Future Contemporaries since 2014.
