Working with artists to realise the integration of a ‘Wellbeing Culture’ within urban design, it is a catalyst for collaboration, bringing together an international network of leading figures from diverse fields to address the most urgent aspects of human life. Led by a deep engagement with the natural environment, Therme Art combines the interests of the latest scientific findings in human health, with the needs of urban design and culture.

Outline of Duties:

To help achieve this, we are now seeking to work with a talented Team Assistant who will support Therme Art’s daily operations. The role will be based at the Therme Art office at Erkelenzdamm 5, Berlin, with the possibility of working remotely.

Your Tasks:

  • • Support Therme Art operations with a focus on team coordination, travel bookings and support with Therme Art events
    • Manage logistics and carry out administrative tasks as needed
    • Attend staff meetings and taking notes
    • Maintain office calendars and sending out reminders of impending appointments
    • Draft letters and reports as may be required from time to time
    • Proofread documents
    • Assist in the planning of travel and events coordination
    • Assist in planning and making reservations for various off-site business meetings and Therme Art events
    • Assist in managing budget for operations and Therme Art programme events
    • Reserve equipment and conference rooms for presentations and in-office meetings
    • Report to Therme Art management about the status of tasks on a daily basis
    • Represent Therme Art through professional communication and management
    • Liaise with the rest of the team to ensure the successful documentation and communication of Therme Art programme as needed

Qualifications:

The Team Assistant will possess an unparalleled work ethic with a high sense of urgency and the ability to work to tight deadlines. They will have a deep interest in culture and technology. They will also hold:

  • • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably art and culture related
    • Manage logistics and carry out administrative tasks as needed
    • Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail, hands-on attitude and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to multi-task, outstanding organisational and time-management skills
    • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships, and a natural ability to work in teams
    • Fluent English; German is a plus
