Artists of the Future is a project by Therme Art, developed as a youth-focused community arts platform. Its first iteration launched at Manchester Art Fair 2025 with workshops led by Gorse Hill Studios, a Trafford-based youth arts charity, inviting children to explore their creativity and consider their relationship with art, nature, and wellbeing.

With the initiative continuing in schools and youth centres across Salford and Trafford, young creatives took part in a drawing competition. 22 artworks were selected to transform the construction hoardings surrounding the development site of Therme Manchester—the UK’s first urban wellbeing resort, scheduled to open in late 2028—into a vibrant outdoor exhibition. Unveiled in June 2026, the exhibition is now on view along Phoenix Way in TraffordCity, leaving a lasting local impact through active community involvement.

The project reflects Therme Art’s core ethos of connecting art, wellbeing, and community, and forms part of its broader commitment to socially engaged creative and educational initiatives. These include Today I Feel Like… by Jeppe Hein and This Entry by Tino Sehgal, projects that similarly foreground community participation.
