Artists of the Future is a new project by Therme Art developed as a youth-focused community arts platform. It takes the form of a drawing workshop inviting young people to explore their creativity and consider their relationship with art, nature, and wellbeing.
The project reflects Therme Art’s core ethos—connecting art, wellbeing, and community—and forms part of its broader commitment to socially engaged creative and educational initiatives. These include Today I Feel Like… by Jeppe Hein and This entry by Tino Sehgal, projects that similarly foreground participation and promote community wellness.
Artists of the Future launched at the Manchester Art Fair 2025, with workshops led by Gorse Hill Studios, a Trafford-based youth arts charity. The project continued across schools and youth centres in Salford and Trafford, leading to an exhibition that will transform the construction hoardings surrounding the development site of Therme Manchester—the UK’s first urban wellbeing resort at TraffordCity—leaving a lasting local impact through active community involvement.
